J Saler Drees grew up along the Klamath River in California, and currently resides in San Diego where she raises her two children, hosts writing workshops at the local library, and bicycles around town. She earned her MFA at Pacific University, and her stories have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best American Short Stories. Recent works have appeared in Blue Lake Review, Dillydoun Review, Evening Street Review, Hedge Apple, Hypertext, K’in, OxMag, RavensPerch, and Shooter Literary . Forthcoming works can be found in Yolk and Adelaide.
