Stacia Levy

Stacia Levy has taught writing and composition for years at the college level. She grew up in the Sacramento area and developed an interest in reading and writing at an early age. Her mother was also a writer and teacher, and her father had an intense interest in history and politics. The author grew up thinking everyone had the complete works of Shakespeare and The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer on the nearest bookshelf before realizing what a privilege that was. She “published” her first novel at the age of ten with her best friend.

Other past publishing credits include short stories in Blue Moon Review, True Story,

Storgy Magazine, The Forge Literary Magazine, Penmen Review, Apalachee Review, and Evening Street Review. In addition, she was a second-place winner in The Writer’s Digest Popular Fiction Awards of 2010 for her short story, “Father,” part of the Sharona Feinstein series. She has completed one novel of romantic suspense, California  Gothic, published under the name Anastasia Levine.

Stacia is currently focusing on the Sharona Feinstein series, mystery/crime novels. The first of the series, novella Three Methods to Save Your Life, was published in Forge literary journal. Blood is Thicker is the second of the series and is currently being marketed. The author looks forward to continuing the series.

The writer lives in Sacramento, California, with her husband and cat. Her daughter also lives in Sacramento and works for the California State Legislature.

She can be found on Facebook at Dr. Stacia Levy’s Homepage.
